KIDS IN DISCIPLESHIP: MENTORING KIDS TO BE EMPOWERED DISCIPLES OF JESUS NOW!

Welcome to K.I.D. On-line

Thank you for your interest in Kids in Discipleship (K.I.D.), an evangelistic ministry of the Collegedale Seventh-day  Adventist Church.

K.I.D.  is specially designed for families and is focused on children.  The K.I.D. mission is Mentoring kids to be empowered disciples of Jesus NOW!

K.I.D. equips congregations, parents and other mentors to impliment the Biblical model of discipleship as described in found in Deuteronomy 6:4-7It is the parents that can train their children, “when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up (v.7).”   Through this intentional discipleship focus, parents/mentors and children grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another. Families are empowered to use their gifts in worship, ministry and mission.

In these last days God promises to "turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers" (
Malachi 4:6). The Holy Spirit is binding the hearts of families together today as parents and other caregivers are being equipped, supported and empowered as spiritual mentors to their children.
